Call for Blog Abstracts: Operation Safe Corridor (OSC) within Nigeria’s Non-Kinetic Counterinsurgency Framework
Background
The Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD–West Africa) invites researchers, policy analysts, and subject-matter experts to submit pitches for analytical blog articles on Operation Safe Corridor (OSC), Nigeria’s deradicalisation, rehabilitation, and reintegration initiative.
Operation Safe Corridor remains a significant component of Nigeria’s non-kinetic counterinsurgency framework. As public discourse surrounding the programme continues to evolve, there is a growing need for rigorous, evidence-based analysis to inform debate and deepen policy understanding.
CDD–West Africa therefore seeks concise analytical blog contributions that interrogate key issues related to OSC, clarify misconceptions, and examine its broader implications for peacebuilding, security governance, reintegration policy, and social cohesion.
Objective of the Call
Selected contributors will produce an analytical blog article (1,200–1,500 words) that:
- Examines a specific issue relating to Operation Safe Corridor
- Engages with the policy, legal, social, or security dimensions of reintegration
