Lassane Ouedraogo

Lassane Ouedraogo is a currently resident Research Fellow at the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD West Africa). Before that he was an AIAC Inaugural Fellow at The New School in New York City. He is an affiliated lecturer at Université Libre  du Burkina and Université Joseph Ki-Zerbo in Burkina Faso. His academic research and publications focus on contemporary African media, politics, and religion. As analyst of political governance, media, and conflict in the Sahel he regularly writes briefs and policy reports and regularly contributes to several news media outlets. 

 Lassane holds a BA in communication from Goshen College, an MA in International Studies and a PhD in  Communication from Ohio University in the USA.
