Aisha Ibrahim Abba holds a First Class law degree from University of Abuja, and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School.

Her interests span Child rights, Development, Advocacy, and Public Interest lawyering. Over the years, she’s volunteered with different NGOs and has participated in many human rights advocacies and campaigns. She’s also worked with pro-bono lawyers to help in the decongestion of prisons in the FCT.

Aisha currently works as a fact-checker with the CDD Election War Room where she writes, reviews, and researches legal-related fact checks and explainers. She also assists the team in translating claims made in Hausa language.
